My friend, Rob Keith, is a former athlete, who now relishes his life being a wonderful Husband and Father. His work role has him doing what he loves to do in the area of project management, and he has the flexibility to do the things that are most important to him.
I love doing these interviews, as I always find out things that I never knew before, and this interview is not different. I find out that Rob, who has lived in the area for 10 years, had never been down to Oliver to see the beauty and visit the incredible number of wineries there. To be fair it took me 2 years of living here to make it there as well! I also find out what drove him to do better in his athletic career (chocolate?), and what he and his wife do to give back to our community. This is a great interview with a great man who is very humble. I know going into the interview that Rob has been working with the CBC sports as an analyst for the Nordic Combined events, as well as the Skijumping events in their "Road to the Olympics" segments. See link here: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/experts/rob-keith-1.3396089 . It was difficult to find out how many times he was the Canadian National Champion for Nordic Combined, because Rob does not live in the past, but rather he focuses on the now, with a keen eye on where the best possibilities of tomorrow are.
