Today's episode is a call back to the blogpost that I did on backing up your hard drive. In today's world of fairly inexpensive memory, it would be a shame to lose all of the precious memories that you have in movies, music, and photos on your hard drive. You  should have a plan in place in the event of a disastrous loss of data.

This podcast addresses that through the use of a Raid Like system for the Mac called the Drobo found here at http://drobo.com, as well as a cloud based backup system that can handle your whole hard drive in the cloud! It is called BackBlaze, and they have a number of options in the unforeseen event of a catastrophic loss of data.

Here too is another great link to a site that refers to NAS and RAID for some practical background information https://www.cloudwards.net/what-is-nas/
