If you are a plant based athlete, like I am, then more than one you have had someone ask you the famed question of "where do you get your protein?" and many of the people that ask that question are asking because they believe that they are well founded in their meat eating ways, and they want to be certain that you are getting the same level of proteins that they are. The problem is that many of those individuals have never done any research into what proteins are nor how much their body needs. Also most people don't know that the Human body does a fantastic job of taking the building blocks of nutrition and putting them into the right orientation for use within our bodies all the time (our bodies synthesize amino acids)

Just remember that it is important to not make someone feel stupid for asking this question, but use it as an opportunity to help them to see how your journey may intersect theirs and help launch them in a new trajectory to wards a healthier future!
